Autobus Lucien Roy - Autobus L. Roy and Sons LTD.

It was in 1958, that Autobus Lucien Roy started up in Lyster, Quebec. In fact, Mister Lucien Roy acquired the business from his brother Wellie. The company owned only two buses, one for travel between Lyster and Thetford and the other one for school children transportation of sector St-Jean-de-Brebeuf to the village school.

In 1977, in addition to five buses for school transportation, the company increased its fleet by acquiring a bus to meet the needs of people of the area wanting to travel in groups. This vehicle was replaced by a luxury coach in 1989.

Then in 1992, Serge Roy, son of Lucien Roy acquired the company and took on the management of the two divisions (school and charter): Les Autobus L. Roy and Sons was incorporated in 1976 and Les Autobus Lucien Roy was incorporated in 1981.

The enterprise, with 16 experienced people, joined the Group Helie in 2001. Management of the Lyster division is headed by Mister Serge Roy.
